14-Year-Old Boy Dies After Subway Surfing In Queens: NYPD

A 14-year-old died after subway surfing in Long Island City Thursday, police said.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS – A 14-year-old died after subway surfing in Long Island City Thursday, police said.

Javon Fraser died after he fell off a 7 train near the Queensboro Plaza station about 5:30 p.m., the NYPD said.

The teen was taken to Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he died, authorities said.
