ASTORIA, QUEENS — A popular Korean fried chicken franchise is popping up in Astoria, leasing a space that has been closed for the last seven years amid construction.

bb.q Chicken will soon open its next location on 35-21 30th Ave., according to their website. The Korean fried chicken joint will lease the first level of a recently-constructed four-story building.

The Astoria Billiards Club used to occupy the space in the originally one-story building in 2016.
