Man, 33, Fatally Shot Near Woodside Houses: Police

ASTORIA, QUEENS — A 33-year-old man was shot dead near Woodside Houses on Sunday, police said.

Police found Tyrell Smith, from 49th Street, with a gunshot wound at 31 Avenue and Hobart Street on June 25 about midnight, the NYPD said.

The 33-year-old was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he died, according to authorities.

No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing, cops said.
