LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS – The NYPD is searching for two suspects who allegedly robbed two men at gunpoint at Murray Playground and forced one to withdraw cash from a nearby ATM, police said.

The two men, ages 23 and 24, were at the Long Island City playground on Nov. 29 at around 6:30 p.m. when two other men around the same age approached them and made conversation, police told Patch. While chatting, one of the men lifted his shirt to reveal a handgun in his waistband and demanded their property.

Both men handed over their cell phones and wallets to the two suspects, who then forced the 23-year-old to walk with them to a nearby Palace Fried Chicken and withdraw $100 in cash from its ATM, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
