Men Went On Robbery Spree Which Included LIC Stores, Police Say

The three men allegedly entered 11 citywide businesses with guns, including at least one in LIC, and took cash from registers, police said.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — Police are searching for three men who they say robbed nearly a dozen citywide stores, including at least one in Long Island City, during two weeks in Oct., police said.

Police received reports that between Oct. 18 and 31, the trio walked into eight 7-Elevens, two Family Dollars and one gas station, where they displayed handguns and removed money from cash registers before fleeing "by unknown means."

The robberies took place across Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Queens, including Long Island City, the NYPD reported.

Police, who released a video of the trio in one of the stores, said that the men wore black masks and black-colored clothing during the robberies.
