WOODSIDE, QUEENS -- The NYPD is searching for two men who robbed a Queens 7-Eleven at gunpoint, making off with $300 from the cash register and an employee's phone and money.
One of the men walked into a 7-Eleven in Woodside, at 61-19 Northern Blvd., and whipped out a handgun on a 46-year-old employee at around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, police said. The other man then forced another employee, 34, to open the cash register and grabbed $300 before ordering the employee to get on the floor.
Cops said the suspects then rummaged through the 34-year-old employee's pockets, taking his cell phone and $40 in cash. The two then swiped lottery tickets, lighters and cigarettes before bolting in an unknown direction, authorities said.
