Woman, 69, Punched On E Train In Long Island City: NYPD
The woman was on board an E train near Queens Plaza subway station when a man came up to her and punched her last week, police said.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — A 69-year-old woman was punched in the head while riding the subway in Long Island City last week, police said.
The woman was on board a Manhattan-bound E train near the Queens Plaza subway station when a man came up to her and punched her in the head before running away May 19, just before 1 p.m., NYPD officials said.
The 69-year-old suffered minor injuries and was taken to New York- Presbyterian Queens Hospital in stable condition, cops said.

Police released images of the attacker Wednesday, and he is described as 30 to 40 years old and about 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black sneakers, authorities said.
