Babylon Animal Shelter To Hold 'St. Pitty's Day' Adoption Event

TOWN OF BABYLON, NY — Many dogs at the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter are hoping to get "lucky" this St. Patrick's Day.

Starting on Thursday, the shelter is hosting a "St. Pitty's Day" adoption event, where every dog adoption fees will be only $17.

According to their social media account, the event is in honor of their "pits", or pit bull breeds, who make up the majority of adoptable shelter dogs.

The event will take place until March 18.

Featured pets include, but aren't limited to:

Charlie, 9 years old

Sis, estimated 6 to 8 years old

Pluto, 2 years old

Floki, estimated 3 to 4 years old

Simba, 5 years old

Madison, estimated 1 to 2 years old

Jackie, estimated 1 to 2 years old

Willow, estimated 4 to 5 years old

London, 2 years old
