Babylon Community Hosts School Supply Drive At South Bay Elementary

Community members can donate or pickup school supplies at South Bay Elementary School.

WEST BABYLON, NY — The new school year is just around the corner and that means school supplies will be selling out soon and the Town of Babylon community is coming together to prepare families for returning to school.

Suffolk County Legislator Kevin McCaffrey, New York State Assembly man Michael Durso and organizations Lindy Cares and the Town of Babylon Cares are hosting a school supply drive at South Bay Elementary School on August 17, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Families are welcome to donate goods or pickup any school supplies they need.

Supplies of all varieties are being accepted, including flash drives, colored pencils, scissors, markers, crayons, glue sticks, folders, binders, loose-leaf paper, pens, pencils, highlighters, calculators, backpacks and protractors.

South Bay Elementary School is located at 160 Great East Neck Road in West Babylon.
