BABYLON, NY — The Babylon Village branch of the Long Island Rail Road will experience partial closures and detours while undergoing improvement work, Babylon Village announced Thursday.

The N. Carll Avenue station will be fully closed from Saturday, October 5 at 11 p.m. to Sunday, October 6 at 9 p.m., village officials said.

Because of the detour, northbound traffic is asked to use Railroad Avenue to Colt Avenue and Sammis Avenue, while southbound traffic from Deer Park Avenue may use Railroad Avenue. Finally, traffic from Sammis Avenue may use Colt Avenue to Railroad Avenue, officials said.
