'Beautiful, Sleek' Cat Turns 1 In Babylon Shelter: Adoptable Pets

TOWN OF BABYLON, NY — Ella, a 1-year-old black domestic short hair, is Babylon Animal Shelter's Adoptable Pet Of the Week.

This beauty came to the shelter on March 11, 2022, at 3 to 4 months old.

"Sadly, Ella has grown up at the shelter as she now has just turned a year old," the shelter said.

Ella can be shy and take some time to warm up. She likes to adventure and watch everything going on, while keeping her distance, volunteers said.

She does well in our free roam colony around other cats and kittens. Ella will benefit from a slow introduction to a new home and time to adjust.

"All this beautiful, sleek girl needs is a chance," the shelter said.

Ella is Felv/FIV negative, current on vaccinations and parasite prevention, spayed and microchipped.
