Babylon Junior-Senior High School is proud to announce that two students have been selected for the 2025 New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) All-State performing ensembles. Allie Manetta, chosen for the treble chorus as an alto I, and Katherine Orifici, chosen for the symphony orchestra as a double bass player, will perform at the annual All-State Conference this December in Rochester.

Selection for these ensembles is one of the highest honors a high school musician can achieve in New York State, the result of a highly competitive audition process that evaluates thousands of students from across the state on their technical skill and musicality.

“This achievement is testament to the students' exceptional dedication, the unwavering support of their families, and the outstanding instruction provided by the district's music faculty,” said Principal Al Cirone. “The entire Babylon school community congratulates Allic and Katherine on this well-deserved—and hard-earned—honor.”
