BMGS Students Shine at Annual Science Fair

Young Scientists Showcase Innovative Research Projects

Babylon Memorial Grade School (BMGS) hosted its annual Science Fair in March, highlighting the scientific curiosity and academic dedication of its students. Organized by the PTA Science Fair Committee, the event featured projects from grades 3 through 6, with students presenting their work to families and a judging panel comprised of faculty from the Babylon Junior-Senior High School Science Department, led by Dr. Scholl.

Additionally, the first-place winners from each grade will be attending the Elementary Science Fair Competition at Brookhaven National Laboratory in June so show off their research.

"We are incredibly proud of all our students who participated in this year's science fair," said Principal Lauren Fretto. "Their hard work, creativity, and scientific inquiry were truly impressive. We extend our gratitude to the PTA Science Fair Committee, our dedicated families, and the judging team for making this event possible."
