The Bristal at West Babylon held an Eclipse viewing party for the residents and team members. Joseph Kuhl, the Lifestyle Director, is an amateur astronomer and taught the residents the science behind the eclipse and how to safely view it. For most of the residents this was their first time viewing an eclipse, many shared that when they were younger, they were cautioned by their parents and teachers not to look at an eclipse because they did not have the proper eye protection.
