Chamber Given Green Light for Weekend Sidewalk Sales

The Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce will be holding more sidewalk sales throughout this summer after being given approval by the Babylon Village Board last Tuesday.

The board voted unanimously to approve permission to the Chamber and its business members to hold sidewalk sales on Saturdays this summer starting July 6 through August 21.

The Chamber had previously held sidewalk sales every other weekend last summer, helping bring more foot traffic to the popular business district.

This year's edition will also include musical performances, such as those seen during the Chamber's annual Spring Fling celebration earlier this month.
