Ace, a 10 to 11-month-old pit bull terrier mix puppy, is the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter's Adoptable Pet of the Week.

This "enthusiastic young boy" arrived at the shelter on Nov. 28. He gets along well with other dogs, the shelter said.

"Ace would benefit from a home that would be savvy with a teenage dog who needs impulse control and boundaries," the shelter said. "Working with a dog trainer would be a great addition for guiding Ace to put on the finishing touches as he matures."

He is also an active boy looking for an active home. Ace needs to have things to do and he would form strong bonds doing them with his people.
