“Life has to end, Love doesn’t.” – Mitch Albom, The Five People you Meet in Heaven

“The Five People you Meet in Heaven” is a short novel by Mitch Albom. The main character, Eddie, is a ride mechanic who is killed in an amusement park accident and sent to heaven, where he encounters five people who had a significant impact on him when he was alive. The main theme in the novel explores the unexpected connections of our lives and the idea that heaven isn’t just a place, but an answer to Life – Every life has a purpose and every action we take impacts others.

Each of the people that Eddie meets in heaven teaches him an important life lesson. The quote highlighted today is from Eddie’s Fourth Lesson, where he is reunited with his predeceased wife, Marguerite. We won’t spoil the details for you here though, it's better read for yourself.
