Kite Festival Returns To Overlook Beach In April
The Town of Babylon's kite festival returns to Overlook Beach in April.
BABYLON, NY — The Town of Babylon's Fifth Annual Kite Festival is set to fly into Overlook Beach in April.
Since its inception in 2021, the kite festival has grown to be the largest regional kite festival on Long Island and draws gusts from the Tri-State area and beyond. According to organizers, the 2024 festival drew between 14,000 to 16,000 guests.
The festival is slated for on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, April 27. in partnership with The Town of Babylon and Suffolk County.

Hosted by the North Babylon Chamber of Commerce and the town, the event is free and will feature a wide array of entertainment including a professional kite flyer, candy drop, free flying, a bubble maker, food, vendors and music and a photo booth.
