LI Champion Softball Team Honored by School Board

Babylon's varsity squad is one of Long Island's winningest teams over the last four years.

With the most number of wins among all Babylon School District sports teams, the Babylon High School varsity girls softball team has earned quite an impressive reputation, both locally and on a county level.

Over the past 13 years, the team has accrued three Long Island championships and six Suffolk County championships while building their overall team record of 227-60, which translates to a winning percentage of .790.

Coming off their fourth-straight Suffolk County championship win, the team was honored by the district during a Board of Education meeting this June.
