Long Island Cub Scouts Honored At Arrow Of Light Ceremony
The Town of Babylon celebrated the Cub Scout Arrow of Light ceremony in April, the highest award a Cub Scout can achieve.

BABYLON, NY — A pack of Long Island Cub Scouts is moving up in the ranks.
In April, Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer, Councilman DuWayne Gregory, Lindenhurst Mayor Michael Lavorata and Suffolk County Legislator Keven McCaffrey attended Cub Scout Pack 60's Blue and Gold dinner to celebrate the Arrow of Light Bridging ceremony.
The Arrow of Light is the highest rank a Cub Scout can achieve and is the first step toward Boy Scouts and soaring with the Eagles, according to the town.
