Person Stabbed at West Babylon Motel

Suffolk County Police are reporting at least one person was stabbed early Wednesday morning at a West Babylon motel.

Newsday reports at least one person was stabbed at the Sunview Motel on York Place, near Sunrise Highway, early Wednesday morning at around 1 a.m.

The stabbing victim, whose gender and name were not disclosed to the newspaper, was taken to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Suffolk County Police told Newsday the incident was still under investigation and would not confirm whether someone had been arrested in connection with the stabbing.

A second incident on Hubbards Path nearby was believed to be related.
