BABYLON, NY — It's been a chilly winter on Long Island, and multiple snow days and plummeting temps mean rising heating bills for residents.

To assist residents with saving energy and money, the Babylon Public Library is hosting a free interactive energy workshop on Monday, Feb. 24, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Registered guests receive a DIY weatherization kit, can speak to an on-site energy advisor, and enjoy refreshments.
