Get Festive With Babylon's Holiday Home Decorating Contest

BABYLON VILLAGE, NY — Do you have what it takes to make your home the most festive one in Babylon?
Babylon Village residents still have the chance to enter their homes in the Babylon Beautification Society's annual Holiday Home Decorating Contest to show their holiday cheer this weekend.
Registration for the contest, which is free for participants, ends at noon on Sunday, Dec. 15.

Judging will take place on Monday, Dec. 17, from 6 to 9:30 p.m., so participants should make sure that all lights and decorations are in place and activated at that time. Judging will be based on "curb appeal," as viewed from the street only and judges will not enter the property to view the back or side yards.
Judging criteria include the unique design and creative use of lights and decorations; storyline or theme; display and placement of decorations; and overall presentation. One to four prizes will be awarded.
