Traffic Advisory: Babylon Roads Slated For Closure, Heavy Traffic
Babylon roads may be congested during weekend events.

BABYLON, NY — The Suffolk County Police Department is advising motorists of road closures in Babylon during weekend events.
On Saturday, May 18, Art by the Falls takes place at Argyle Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and may cause traffic congestion, police said.
Also on Saturday is the Community Bike Ride from 10 a.m. to noon. Cyclists will start and end the ride at the library's rear parking lot. Police said the event will cause road closures and traffic congestion.

On Sunday, May 19, the Babylon High School Color Run Time will take place form 9 to 11 a.m. at Southards Pond and may cause traffic congestion, police said.
Basketball fundraiser games will also take place on Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Park Avenue courts.

The First Precinct advises motorists to use alternate routes to avoid "traffic congestion and possible heavy traffic."
