Two Babylon Men Indicted in Gunpoint Holdup in Teaneck

Attackers allegedly put a gun to restaurant owner's head, demanded money.

Three New York men at gunpoint have been indicted on kidnapping and robbery charges, northjersey.com reported Monday.

The men went to in Teaneck, New Jersey around noon on May 19 to collect a debt from the owner, police told Patch after the arrest. [Name Removed], 43, of Miller Place, and Zorawar Singh, 34, and Leo Sullivan, 28, both of Babylon Village, were arrested shortly after the holdup.

Police said the trio put a gun to the owner’s head and chest while demanding payment, but escaped without the cash.

[Name Removed] had entered into a business deal with the owner and loaned him money, according to police. Teaneck detectives and Suffolk County police first arrested [Name Removed] and authorities said they found the gun used in the crime along with other weapons.

Zorawar Singh and Sullivan were charged a short time later.

All three were released in June after posting bail, according to jail records.
