WATCH: Final Chance To See Long Islander Performs "A Bronx Tale"
Christian Musto, originally from Island Park, finishes his role as Calogero on June 16.
BABYLON, NY — A Long Islander is performing in A Bronx Tale through next week at The Argyle Theater in Babylon. Christian Musto, originally from Island Park, has the role of Calogero, based on Chazz Palminteri, who wrote the 1989 play, later adapted for the screen.
"It's been a blast," Musto told Patch. "I kind of went into the show blind. I still have not seen the movie."
The movie's popularity wasn't lost on his parents who would quote lines once he booked the show.

"As I've gone through the whole rehearsal process and been performing in the show, it's honestly been very iconic," he admitted.
Musto caught the acting bug as a six-year-old as he attended a theater summer camp in Syosset. His first show was "Little Shop of Horrors."

"I do mostly musicals. I've been wanting to do plays because those are a whole different beast entirely," he said. "I've been dipping my toe into film [and] tv."
Musto is also dabbling into the voice acting world, "which is something I really want to do."
For now, you can see him in "A Bronx Tale" until June 16.
