West Babylon Chinese Restaurant Robbed at Gunpoint

WEST BABYLON, NY – A Chinese restaurant in West Babylon was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night.
According to Suffolk Police, a man entered New Yan Chun Kitchen located at 922 Straight Path at approximately 8:40 p.m., displayed what appeared to be a handgun and demanded cash from an employee at the counter.
The employee complied and the man left the restaurant and fled the scene on foot. There were no injuries. No arrests have been made.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
A different Chinese restaurant in West Babylon was also robbed at gunpoint on March 10.
