2 Busted For Selling Alcohol To Minors On LI: Police
Two people were arrested on Long Island after selling alcohol to minors on Sunday, Suffolk police say.
BAY SHORE, NY — Two people were arrested for selling alcohol to underage people on Sunday after Suffolk County police investigated multiple businesses on Long Island.
Police said numerous community complaints sparked compliance check investigations at seven businesses in the Third Precinct, which includes Bay Shore, Baywood, Brentwood, Brightwaters, Islip, Central Islip, East Islip, West Islip and Islip Terrace.
An employee of USA Petroleum in Bay Shore was arrested and charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child for selling alcohol to someone under the age of 21 and was issued a field appearance ticket, police said.

The owner of Sun Shore Liquors in Bay Shore was arrested and charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child and second-degree obstructing governmental administration, police said.
Singh and Thiara are slated to appear in First District Court in Central Islip at a later date, police said.
