In the fundraiser's description, Lozada said that before the incident, Patwell already had an unfortunate hand in life. As a man in his early 20's, he has already lost both his parents and works multiple jobs in order to provide for himself.

"Timmy has always been the person people call when things go wrong, he never hesitates to help anyone and doesn’t know a stranger," Lozada wrote.
Since Patwell will be out of work for the foreseeable future, Lozada set up the GoFundMe to help him with medical bills and to let him focus on his recovery.
Within two days of creating the fundraiser, its goal of $40,000 was quickly surpassed, obtaining more $42,053.
"We are asking friends that have become family to be there for Timmy the way he has countless times for so many of us," she said.
In a GoFundMe titled "We Almost Lost Noah," Parker said that Noah received a life-threatening stab wound to the abdomen injuring his small and large intestines, and it severed arteries and veins as well.
He had to undergo two major surgeries and is currently still on a ventilator in ICU. His family anticipates at least a weeklong hospital stay while recovering before being allowed go home.
"Then he still has a very long road to healing and recovery," Parker said.
After the loss of his father, Noah has "done nothing but be a major source of financial help and support for his family" and still managed to continue his college education.
Arecent Public Health B.S. graduate he was working full time at the time of this incident.
Like Patwell, he will be unable to work for the foreseeable future. Parker said that the donations will help towards covering all rent, medical, rehab and other associated bills.
As of Wednesday afternoon, GoFundMe raised $7,310 out of a $50,000 goal.
"We are calling on all friends and family to galvanize together and do everything they can to rally around, cover and lift Noah up at this time," Parker said. "The Family knows that only because of God’s grace and mercy that Noah’s Life was spared, and we thank everyone for their prayers during this traumatizing experience."
