$5M Lottery Prize Split By 5 Long Island Residents

Five people from Long Island split a $5 million prize from the New York Lottery, officials say.

BAY SHORE, NY – Five Long Islanders have claimed a prize-winning lottery ticket worth $5 million according to the New York Lottery.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Ron's Deli Grocery Store in Jamaica, Queens, lottery officials said.

The winners split the prize evenly, with each person receiving $1,000,000 before required withholdings.

The winners include Bibi N. Rahman, of Bay Shore, who received $651,000; and Sheik F. Rahman, Bibi F. Rahman, Bibi K. Rahman and Bibi S. Rahman, all of Floral Park, who each received $612,240.
