Arson Investigating Bay Shore House Fire: Police

It started in the rear of the house, and was extinguished by the Brentwood Fire Department, Suffolk police say.

BAY SHORE, NY — Arson Squad detectives are investigating a fire that broke out at a Bay Shore home on Wednesday afternoon, Suffolk police said.

The fire started in the rear of the Oakwood Avenue home at around 4:12 p.m., and it was extinguished by the Brentwood Fire Department, according to police.

No injuries were reported.
