Babies "R" Us Is Opening 9 New Stores On Long Island

BAY SHORE, NY — Babies "R" Us is opening 200 locations at Kohl's across the country, including 25 across New York state, the company said in a recent release.

On Long Island, the retail giants are set to open nine Babies "R" Us locations at Kohl's in Suffolk and Nassau counties.

According to Kohls, "The first Babies 'R' Us shops will begin opening in August and continue opening through fall, with all 200 shops open in time for the holidays."

Kohl's was not immediately available for comment regarding the expected opening dates for the Long Island locations.

The baby supply stores will be adjacent to Kohl's, offering an "expanded assortment" of clothing, accessories, baby gear and furniture with the convenience of shopping at two different stores in one stop. Kohl's plans to continue offering it's usual assortment including baby and kids' apparel.

• East Setauket: 5000 Nesconset Highway in East Setauket
• Ronkonkoma: 106 Ronkonkoma Avenue in Lake Ronkonkoma
• Shirley: 999 Montauk Highway Unit 21 in Shirley
• Jericho: 28 Jericho Turnpike in Jericho
• Massapequa: 5300 Sunrise Highway in Massapequa Park
• Oceanside: 3600 Long Beach Road in Oceanside
• Bay Shore: 2040 Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore
• Rocky Point: 346 Route 25A Ste. 130 in Rocky Point
