Babylon Man Dies Tuesday In Brightwaters Crash: Police

BRIGHTWATERS, NY — A 24-year-old Babylon resident was killed in a single-car crash at 2:43 a.m. Tuesday, Suffolk County police said.

Third Squad detectives are investigating the crash on Union Boulevard in Brightwaters.

Police said their preliminary assessment was that Bryant Dorman was driving west in a 2018 Jeep near Johnson Lane when he crossed into the eastbound lane, left the roadway and struck a light pole.

Dorman was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead, police said.
