Video Game Trading Post will open in the South Shore Mall in late February, with playable arcade games and video games for sale.

BAY SHORE, NY— A retro pinball arcade that opened in Bay Shore's South Shore Mall last year is temporarily closed, and will reopen with some changes.

The new store's concept will combine the machines that can be played with video games to purchase, according to a post on the arcade's Facebook page.
"A combo retro video game store and our playable Arcade and Pinball showroom can also be rented out for birthday parties and special events. With over 40 pinball machines VGTP 3.0 will house the largest collection of pinball machines on Long Island plus play over 30 full-size arcade and sit-down driving games. We will also start to offer pinball and arcade game rentals and sales."
