The Bay Shore community is mourning the death of former firefighter and Engine Company 1 Captain Bruce Lewandowski.
BAY SHORE, NY — The Bay Shore community is mourning the death of a dedicated firefighter and for captain, Bruce Lewandowski.
The Bay Shore Fire Department and Engine Company 1 announced his passing Friday morning.
Lewandowski was a 51-year member of the fire department and a former captain of Engine Company 1, the department said.
