Bay Shore School Budget Vote Tuesday: What You Need To Know
Long Island residents are voting on 2025-2026 school budgets. Here's everything you need to know before casting your vote in Bay Shore.

BAY SHORE, NY — Residents will decide on the Bay Shore School District budget on Tuesday, May 20.
The final proposed 2025-2026 budget is $202,138,570, a 2.4 percent increase from the current budget of $197,418,192.
This year's tax levy stands at an increase of 3.9 percent, from $117,889,085 to $122,455,841.

Bay Shore residents who have lived in the district for at least 30 days, who are U.S. citizens 18 years of age or older and who are currently and properly registered may vote.
Residents may cast their votes at the Bay Shore High School Gymnasium, located at 155 Third Ave, in Bay Shore.

Voting takes place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
