Bay Shore's Nestlé Toll House Café Closes In Westfield Mall

BAY SHORE, NY — A longtime food court tenant is saying goodbye to Westfield South Shore Mall.

Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip, announced its closure on social media Saturday night.

“Thank you everyone for your support throughout the years! 🙏” reads the shop’s last Instagram post.

Known for its warm pastries and freshly baked cookie cakes, customers wrote they will miss the establishment.

"I'm so sorry and heartbroken to see this," wrote one commenter.

Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, the French company which owns two-dozen malls in the U.S., including Westfield South Shore, paid about $24.7 billion, including debt, to acquire the portfolio of malls in 2018.

It is unclear if Westfield South Shore will be affected; representatives have declined to comment.
