Bay Shore, NY — Bay Shore's annual St. Patrick's Day Parade is one of Long Island's largest, and this year the festivities will kick off the weekend before the actual holiday. The family-friendly parade is scheduled for Saturday, March 14th from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.

The parade route starts at South Saxon Avenue and Main Street, where it travels westward, ending in front of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church at 9 Clinton Avenue. This year's grand marshal is Timothy E. Mooney, President of Fire Island Ferries.

A pre-parade mass will be held at St. Patrick's, featuring the Hibernian Festival Singers from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m.
