Brightwaters Streets Slated For Closure During Great South Bay Run
The Village of Brightwaters is warning drivers about road closures on Saturday during the Northwell Health Great South Bay Run.
BRIGHTWATERS, NY — The Village of Brightwaters is warning drivers about road closures in Brightwaters and Bay Shore during a race this weekend.
The Northwell Health Great South Bay Run through Bay Shore and Brightwaters will take place on Saturday, Oct. 5, from around 7:30 to 11:30 a.m.
In a Facebook announcement, village officials said the following streets will be affected by the race:

- Montauk Highway (Windsor to Bay Way)
- Lakeview Avenue E
- Lakeview Avenue S
- Lakeview Avenue N
- Lagoon Drive
- Johnson Drive
- Lakeview Avenue W
- Bay Way Avenue
"To keep runners safe and residents able to drive around the Village during this Race, please follow the directions of the Police Officers at these locations. Best of luck to all the runners," the post said.
