Chicken Sandwich Fast Food Chain Expands On Long Island: Report
A fast food chain specializing in chicken sandwiches will open in a space formerly occupied by a chain restaurant in a Long Island mall.

BAY SHORE, NY — A fast food chain known for perfecting the chicken sandwich has announced plans to open a new Long Island location, according to a report by Long Island Business News.
Fast food franchise Chick-fil-A will bring new life to the space previously occupied by TGI Fridays at South Shore Mall in Bay Shore, LIBN reported.
The outlet said the franchise plans to demolish the old structure and build a new 5,500 square-foot restaurant with two drive-thru lanes. The plans are still in the permitting process with the Town of Islip, so the opening date has not been set, LIBN said.
