Cyclist Seriously Injured After North Bay Shore Crash: PD
Jeronimo Ramos, 59, slammed his bicycle into a trailer being towed by a Chevrolet on Pine Aire Drive, according to police.
NORTH BAY SHORE, NY — A bicyclist was seriously injured Friday evening after he crashed into the passenger side of a trailer being towed by an SUV, according to police.
The Brentwood cyclist, Jeronimo Ramos, 59, was going northbound on Wells Drive when he slammed into trailer, headed eastbound on Pine Aire Drive, police said.
Ramos was sent to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment, but there has been no updates about his condition as of Saturday, according to an NYPD spokeswoman.

The Chevrolet SUV driver —Edison Gualacela, 39, of Bay Shore — was not injured, according to authorities.
Detectives from the Third Squad are investigating the crash and anyone with information on the crash is asked to call (631) 854-8352.
