BAY SHORE, NY — A fuel spill closed all lanes on a NY27 eastbound service road in Bay Shore on Wednesday morning, Suffolk County Police said.

The spill, occurred at about 9:12 a.m., closed the Sunrise Service Road between Cassel Ave. and Manor Lane, near Exit 41 - Robert Moses Causeway.

The leak came from a garbage truck, police said.
