Man Found Dead Under Car In Bay Shore Parking Lot: Police

BAY SHORE, NY — A man was found dead under a vehicle he was working on in Bay Shore on Thursday, according to Suffolk County police.

Police were called to the scene around 9 a.m. and found Stephan Edwards, 30, of Margate, Florida, under a 2013 Kia Optima that he was working on in the parking lot of 1321 Sunrise Hwy.

The vehicle was raised on a jack and fell on him sometime overnight between Nov. 6 and 7, police said.

Edwards was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
