New Cajun-Themed Restaurant Coming To Bay Shore

The New Orleans-inspired restaurant held a soft opening last week.

BAY SHORE, NY - A new restaurant will be opening this week in Bay Shore.

Big Daddy’s East, a Cajun-themed restaurant will be opening its doors on 44-46 Main Street after hosting a soft opening last Thursday.

“We’re excited to open in Bay Shore,” manager Frank Poulin told GreaterBayShore. “This is a great spot in town.”

This is the second Big Daddy's to open on Long Island, with a sister restaurant located in Massapequa.

It is unknown if the New Orleans inspired eatery is officially opened to customers yet. A message on the Big Daddy's website reads "coming soon to downtown Bay Shore."

Patch has reached out to the restaurant but has not received a call back as of press time.

According to a post on the restaurant's Instagram page, a second opening event will be held on Tuesday night with limited seating.

The restaurant will offer elevated versions of classic New Orlean staples, GreaterBayShore reports.
