Scouts BSA Troop 43, Participates in POW/MIA Vigil on Sept 15, 2023

National POW/MIA Recognition Day is an observance that honors whose who were prisoners of war (POW) as well as those who are still missing.

On the evening of Friday September 15, 2023, Scouts BSA Troops 43, Chartered by AMVETS Post 76 of Bay Shore, along with scouts from other local units in the Babylon and Islip area as well as other service organizations participated in the POW/MIA Remembrance Day Vigil, hosted by American Legion Post 1634 and the Rolling Thunder Inc, who work tirelessly to ensure that we never forget those who were left behind during wartime conflicts. Please keep our service men and women and their families and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
