The new address will include a rooftop bar with seating for 66 people.

"Although the decision to leave 70 E. Main Street was very difficult for us, it’s been a long time coming," the owners wrote." We realized pretty quickly back when we first opened in 2014 that if we wanted to grow, we’d need to find a bigger home."
The space will be more than twice its current size of 3,000 square feet on the first floor alone. It will triple its current size during the warmer months with the rooftop open.

The new location will also include a private party room, 210 seats, a private mezcal tasting bar / event room, we’ll finally be able to accommodate more events.

Verde specializes in creative Mexican food and specialty tequila and mezcal cocktails, its website said. Mexico City, central Oaxaca and the southern pacific coastline are where most of its inspirations originate from.
The restaurant is also well-known for its earthy, greenhouse space.
"We have an incredible team of NYC based interior designers and Mexico based graphic designers, along with our architectural team Busch Associates all working very hard on this project," the owners wrote. "We’re very thankful for their hard work and dedication in helping us bring this new dream to life."
The owners did not specify when the move will take place. But when it does happen, their motto is sure to follow.
"Para todo mal; mezcal. Para todo bien; también!," the owners wrote. "For all things bad; there’s mezcal. But for all things good, there’s also mezcal!"
