No Garbage Pickup While Snow Emergency In Effect

In order to ensure that all city streets are plowed and salted in the aftermath of the recent blizzard, the Department of Sanitation announced that all scheduled refuse and recycling pickups will be suspended citywide while the snow emergency is in effect.

Announcements will be made when curbside pickups will resume. For any Sanitation related questions on the most up-to-date information, residents can call 311 or visit www.nyc.gov/sanitation.

However, if residents already put trash curbside, they can leave it there.
