Bayside-Based C2C Robotics Teams Inspire Kids at Roslyn Library Workshop

Student teams showcase award-winning robots and inspire kids to explore STEM through hands-on activities.

Queens, NY – The C2C Robotics teams joined forces with Wheatley High School’s Cyber Cats FRC team to host a community robotics sharing event at the Bryant Library on August 16. The workshop featured live robot demonstrations, student stories, and interactive activities that invited children to try robotics themselves.

The event’s goal was to promote STEM education and encourage more kids across Long Island to participate in robotics competitions such as FLL, VEX, and FRC. Students highlighted how robotics teaches problem-solving, teamwork, resilience, and communication skills—lessons that extend far beyond competition.
