Bayside High School Offers Free Meals To Kids, Teens All Summer

The school will provide free breakfast and lunches through September.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Bayside High School will start to give away free breakfast and lunches to kids and teenagers through September.

The school located at 32-24 Corporal Kennedy St., started providing the meals on Thursday, June 29, and the program will run through Friday, Sept. 1.

The breakfast will be distributed Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Morning menu items range from french toast sticks to bagels.

Lunch will be provided on weekdays from 9:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Lucnhes can include tacos, chicken sandwiches, pizza, and more.

The initiative will also take place in all Queens Public Library branches. Locations include the branches in Rego Park (91-41 63rd Dr.), Queens Village (94-11 217 St.), and Queensboro Hill, 60-05 Main St.).
