The hospital will purchase Trexo devices, which teach children to walk by gently moving a child’s legs in a repetitive gait pattern. The machine is supposed to help a child improve their mobility even when the device is not in use.

The thousands of dollars will also fund a car simulator that will teach parents and caregivers how to safely transfer children with physical disabilities into vehicles.
